Beersheba: 1 dead, 1 injured from drinking unknown liquid

One man was killed and another man was in moderate condition after the pair drank an unidentified substance at their apartment in Beersheba on Saturday.

MDA paramedics who arrived at the scene pronounced an approximately 40-year-old man dead and evacuated his companion to Soroka Hospital in the city.

Police opened an investigation into the incident. They suspect the substance may have been a homemade alcoholic beverage.
