Former British prime minister Tony Blair said the ideology that inspired the Muslim murderers of London soldier Lee Rigby last month was "profound and dangerous."

In an article published in the Daily Mail Sunday, the former premier said the same ideology that drove the terror attack against Rigby "is out there" and it "isn't diminishing. "

He added that most British citizens likely were horrified by Rigby's murder and urged the UK and nations around the world to educate children about religion and society in order to have a respectful coexistence between people of different faiths.
