Bomb rocks Pakistan's largest city

KARACHI, Pakistan — A powerful bomb in the center of Pakistan's largest city leveled a building on Thursday, police and witnesses said. Casualties were feared.

Police officer Iqbal Mahmood said the blast took place close to a police building that is not far from the heavily fortified US consulate in Karachi.TV footage showed bloodied victims leaving the scene and security officers searching through the debris of a building.
