BASRA - A car driven by a suicidebomber exploded near a Shi'ite mosque on Thursday in Iraq'ssouthern oil hub of Basra, killing at least three people andwounding 23 others, according to a provincial police source.
A hospital source said the blast in Basra, 420 km south of Baghdad, killed three and wounded 50.
