The Syrian government has used Iranian-made Fateh A-110 missiles against rebels in the country on at least two occasions this week, CNN reported on Friday, citing two US military officials.

The Iranian missile has a shorter range, but is more accurate than the Scud-type missiles employed by the Syrian government in recent weeks.
