Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez expressed his support in a letter, for full Palestinian membership in the United Nations, The Wall Street Journal reported.

He also branded the US and Israel as perpetrators of "Palestinian genocide" in the letter that was sent to United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and the annual General Assembly, according to the report.
