Clinton: What would Haiti have done without Israeli effort?

Former president and the special American envoy to , Bill Clinton, told President Shimon Peres on Thursday that “the Israeli hospital [in ] was the only operational facility where surgery and advanced medical examinations could be performed.”

At the opening of the World Economic Foreum in Davos, turned to Peres and said: “Shimon, I don’t know what we would have done without the Israeli hospital in .”

The two went on to discuss efforts to rehabilitate the earthquake-stricken state.
