Condition of soldier seriously injured in tunnel bomb improves

Second lieutenant Ahiya Clein, who was seriously injured on Friday from a bomb planted in a terrorism tunnel dug by Hamas, opened his eyes on Sunday, Channel 2 News reported.
While Clein's condition improved, it remains critical. He no longer needs a respirator, and is now speaking and communicating with those around him.
Despite that, doctors at Soroka University Medical Center in Beersheba say Clein's eye injury is still serious, and he will need to undergo more operations on it.
