Court extends remand of youth alleged to have stabbed 16-year-old Petah Tikva teen

Authorities on Sunday extended the remand of a 16-year-old boy who confessed to stabbing another teen, Naor Atias, to death in Petah Tikva late Friday.
The court also ordered that two other teens who are alleged to have acted as accomplices in the murder also be remanded for additional time.
Atias was killed after an argument erupted between him and a group of other boys. According to Israel Radio, the argument ensued after Atias was seen speaking to a female acquaintance of one of the teens in the group.
