A dancing instructor from Ashkelon was the subject of a prosecutor's statement submitted to the Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court detailing sexual assaults against his teenage female students.

A prosecutor's statement is a legal step that precedes a formal indictment.

The suspect, Uri Azriel, 44, was arrested by Rehovot police officers at the end of December on suspicion of sexually assaulting students.

Some of his students have alleged that he raped them.
