Deputy Speaker of the Knesset Danny Danon responded on Sunday to the Turkel Committee report which concluded that the IDF acted in accordance with international law during the May 2010 Mavi Marmara raid.

“Turkish Prime Minsiter Recep Tayyip Erdogan's attempt to 'spin' the flotilla incident and accuse Israel of inappropriate behavior was completely rejected today [Sunday] in the report released by former Justice Jacob Turkel," Danon said.

"If Erdogan does not apologize to Israel, our government should move immediately to curtail all security cooperation with Turkey," he added.

He went on to say that "the committee proved beyond any doubt that the mercenaries aboard the Mavi Marmara were terrorists who were on a mission to kill as many Israeli soldiers as possible."
