Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman has approved the appointment of IDF spokesperson Moti Almoz as head of the Israeli military's manpower directorate, replacing Maj.-Gen Hagai Topolansky Topolansky resigned earlier in December after it was revealed a laptop carrying sensitive information was stolen from his possession. Almoz will be promoted to rank of Maj.-Gen.
