Despite controversy over the "Galant Document," Defense Minister Ehud Barak will continue to conduct his planned interviews for the position of IDF Chief of Staff, meeting tomorrow (Sunday) with Deputy Chief of Staff Benny Gantz, under consideration for the role.

The "Galant Document" is a purported plan aired by Channel 2 Friday which outlines a PR campaign designed to secure the position of IDF Chief of Staff for Maj. Gen Yoav Galant. It is unclear whether the document is authentic.

Barak is currently conducting interviews to determine who will replace Gabi Ashkenazi as Chief of Staff of the IDF.
