Strategic dialogue between Israel and the United Kingdom was held in Jerusalem on Wednesday, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement. The talks, attended by high-ranking government officials from both countries, were co-headed by UK Foreign Office Permanent Undersecretary Peter Ricketts and Foreign Ministry Director General Yossi Gal. According to the statements, the discussions had centered on regional matters of strategic importance. This is a second time such dialogue has been conducted, a sign of the close bilateral relations between Jerusalem and London.
