Arab nations submitted a draft resolution to the UN Security Council on Wednesday, condemning West Bank settlements, Reuters reported.

A vote on the resolution is not expected anytime soon because the US is expected to veto the measure.

Diplomats said that the resolution is meant to bring attention to Washington's isolated position in the UNSC on the settlement issue as well as to put pressure on Israel.
