Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is "always denying" the Holocaust, Public Diplomacy Minister Yuli Edelstein and Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz said on Sunday responding to Abbas's statements that a Palestinian state should be clean of Jews.

Edelstein said, "Abu Mazen became known for publishing a paper denying the Holocaust. He continued last week by claiming in an article that we attacked the Arab countries in 1948, and now he is showing his intention to have Palestine be Judenrein. This is a closing of a circle for Abbas."
