Egypt lashed out at its critics on Wednesday, saying a UN statement concerning the shooting of African migrants at the border with Israel was "full of mistakes and incorrect allegations," according to a Reuters report.
"The report lacked professionalism and neutrality that Egypt expects
from those who occupy such an important international post," Reuters
quoted a statement from Egypt's foreign ministry as saying.
The Egyptian statement comes a day after UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay called on Cairo to urgently launch an independent and credible inquiry into the matter.
