The remaining protesters in Cairo's Tahrir Square were given an ultimatum by the Egyptian military Monday. In an effort to finally clear the square of protesters who have camped there for three weeks, the army told them to leave or face arrest, Reuters reported.

Although most of the protesters left the square following the departure of former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak last Friday, many said they would remain until the military government makes way for a democratic, civilian regime. A massive "Victory March" was planned for Friday to mark the movement's victory in ousting a 30-year-victory, also intended to remind the military of where the government's legitimacy comes from, according to the report.
