An envelope containing a white powder and a threatening letter sent to the office of deputy education minister, MK Meir Porush (United Torah Judaism) on Wednesday.

According to Army Radio, the letter accompanying the powder was similar to that received by other haredi MKs including Moshe Gafni and Uri Maklev earlier this week. Those letters read, "If you continue to squeeze state budgets at our expense, the expense of students and the expense of our culture, you will pay a heavy price, stop sucking our blood, bearers of stinky beards and sideburns."The incidents are being investigated.
