Erdan mulling becoming ambassador to UN

Environmental Protection Minister Gilad Erdan said Thursday that he would decide in the next two to three weeks whether to accept the offer to become Israel's ambassador to the UN.

Speaking to Army Radio, Erdan said that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman had indeed offered him the position.He added that the decision was a complex one, but declined to elaborate on his considerations.
