FBI clears package at Newark airport; no danger

NEWARK, New Jersey  — The FBI on Monday cleared what was thought to be a suspicious package at New Jersey's Newark Liberty International Airport.
FBI Special Agent Bryan Travers said the package is a computer monitor that normally emits small amounts of radiation and there is no danger.
Terminal A, which is home to American Airlines at the airport near New York City, was shut down during Monday morning's investigation.
Travers said the monitor is being shipped to the same destination as its owner, who is already in flight.
