German Defense Minister calls Iran's uranium news "farce"

German Defense Minister Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg expressed his frustration with dealing with the regime of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad .
At a press conference taking place during the Munich Security Conference Sunday, Guttenberg said that “today’s declaration is a farce just like what we have seen in the past, when the extended hand of the international community was rejected.”
Ahmadinejad has ordered Iran's atomic agency to begin production of higher enriched uranium, it was announced earlier Sunday.
In comments broadcast on state television the Iranian leader said: "God willing, 20 percent enrichment will start" to meet Iran's needs. He did not give a date for the start of the enrichment process.
