Haifa man, 35, suspect in stabbing 29-year-old wife

A 34-year-old Hafia man was arrested overnight Friday for allegedly stabbing his 29-year-old wife, who was seriously injured.

The man was reported by policed to have been drunk during the violent incident.

Haifa Police stated that no complaints were filed by either partner with the police beforehand and that they were not known for having violent domestic disputes.

The suspect will be brought to have his remand set by Haifa Magistrate's Court late Saturday.
