Hamas released a statement Friday condemning the Nice terror attack which took place the night prior.

The condemnation, Hamas claimed, is in line with "our organization's fundamental moral and humane principles, which oppose all forms of extremism and terror. "

The organization related the attack to the "struggle" of the Palestinian people, who have "severely suffered from Israeli terror over the span of decades."
