A Jewelery store worker was shot dead after chasing two suspected armed robbers who raided his business on Wednesday. The two suspects entered a jewelry store in Hod Hasharon with the intention of committing a robbery, police said.

After leaving the store with the goods, the seller gave chase and the robbers opened fire on him, police added, striking and mortally wounding him. Magen David Adom paramedics attempted to revive the shooting victim but were forced to declare him dead after a few minutes. Police arrived on the scene and have launched a murder investigation.
