Following recent terror, citizens who serve in IDF reserve combat units will patrol major roads and routes in Judea and Samaria starting Thursday night, according to a regional settler council in Samaria.

Combatants and officers bearing arms, medical equipment and residing in Judea and Samaria will take part in the patrols. The patrols are part of an effort to increase the security presence in the area, increase the immediate availability of forces during an emergency or attack, and to strengthen the feeling of security among residents.
