The IDF has clarified that contrary to earlier reports, there was in fact no attempted stabbing attack on an Israeli citizen in the vicinity of the Yatir settlement south of Hebron, Tuesday afternoon.
The actual cause for alarm, the IDF determined, emanated from Israeli and Palestinian civilians engaging in a confrontation, which resulted in one Israeli wounded from the violence.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
