Investigation on Bat Yam mayor and Justice Danziger begins

Attorney-GeneralYehuda Weinstein has given the police the go-ahead to conduct apre-investigation regarding the financial relations between Bat Yam mayor Shlomi Lahiani, and Supreme Court JusticeYoram Danziger, who was a private lawyer before being appointed to the bench,the Justice Ministrysaid on Tuesday.
According to reports, Danziger had various business relationswith Lahiani while working for the municipality at the same time. According tothese reports, Danziger and his law partner at the time, Dori Klagsblad, earnedNIS 823,000between 2005 and 2007.
