Iran canceled the previously planned release of a detained American woman because the legal process is not completed, according to Teheran prosecutor Abbas Jafari Dolatabadi, Reuters reported Friday.

"Because the legal procedure on her case is not finished, her release is canceled," he was quoted as saying by the ILNA news agency.
