TEHRAN, Iran — Iranian media reported Wednesday that the British ambassador has been summoned by the Foreign Ministry over his country's possible links to a foiled bomb plot in Iran.
The semiofficial Mehr news agency reported that the summoning comes following the arrset of two militant groups seeking to carry out terrorist attacks.
The agency added that the government was demanding serious investigations by the British government into any links with the group, which it identified as the exile movement, the Mujahedeen-e Khalq Organization.
The agency said the ambassador agreed to convey the protest to London.
