Senator John Kerry issued a strong statement on Sunday to naysayers who doubted the authenticity of Osama bin Laden's death.

"We need to shut up and move on about the realities of what happened in that building," CNN quoted the senator as saying on CBS's Face the Nation.

Kerry added that Osama bin Laden was much more than a symbol to the operations of al-Qaida. "He was, in fact, the center," the senator said.
