with an arc of countries in the eastern Mediterranean and the Balkans.
Developing warm, strategic ties with Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania,
Croatia, Serbia and Albania has – since the deterioration of ties with
Turkey – turned into one of Israel's central foreign policy objectives.
