Whoever believes that a comprehensive Israeli-Palestinian peace deal is possible in the next few years just "doesn't understand the situation and is spreading delusions," Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Thursday.
Speaking to Israel Radio, Lieberman said the two sides should instead strive for interim agreements that would create stability, and leave the tough issues "to a much later stage."
He also called on Arab states to display more courage and stop being idle in the face of extremist elements.
