Lieberman on budget: We are not looking to create a crisis

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman on Monday addressed differences of opinion Israel Beiteinu has had with other members of the coalition, most notably Shas.

"We are not looking for reasons to create a crisis, but we will not give up on the interests we represent, our constituency, or our beliefs," Lieberman stated at an Israel Beiteinu meeting.

"There is no contradiction between what I said since since becoming foreign minister and the coalition agreement Israel Beiteinu signed with Likud. So I hope no one is looking for reasons for complications and problems and everything will go as planned," he added.
