Lightning strikes kindergarten; no one injured

Lightning struck a kindergarten in Kfar Yedidya during Tuesday morning's surprise thunder storms, Channel 2 reported.

Though the strike caused a great deal of damage to the property, no children were injured because the kindergarten was not operating due to Shavuot. "It's a huge miracle that we don't work during the holiday and that the place was empty," a teacher was quoted as saying.

Locals said that at first the loud lightning bolt sounded like a missile strike.
