A 55-year-old man was shot to death outside of a church in the village of Yafia near Nazareth on Saturday.

Two other people standing next to the man suffered moderate to serious injuries from the gunshots.

An initial police investigation found that the shooting was perpetrated by a passing car. The car fled the scene and the suspects remained at large.
