MK Shaul Mofas addressed Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's expected diplomatic initiative in a speech Thursday, criticizing what he called, the prime minister's "confused leadership."

"I don't believe that Netanyahu has a political plan," Mofaz told a group of high school students in Ramat Gan. "We're viewed by the world as [a state that] rejects peace and rules over another people."

The chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee added, "If we don't begin a political process with the Palestinians, the next confrontation is only a matter of time."
