Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that “a ludicrous four year witch hunt ends today.”
Netanyahu expressed his great appreciation of the court, noting that the judge said that the events the chefs were invited to cook for were official state events. Speaking about his wife, the prime minister said she “endured four year of hell facing a set of charges from which nothing was left.”
Sara Netanyahu was found guilty of corruption in a plea deal on Sunday.
