Netanyahu: I'm prepared to make a far-reaching compromise

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Tuesday told a special joint session of Congress that he is "prepared to make a far-reaching compromise."
"The vast majority of the 300,000 Jewish Israelis that live beyond 1967 lines are outlying Jerusalem and Tel Aviv... Under any realistic peace agreement, these areas, and other areas of strategic security importance will be incorporated into the final borders of Israel," Netanyahu said.
"The status of the settlements will only be be decided in negotiations, but I'll say this... in any real peace agreement...that ends the conflict... some settlements will end up beyond Israel's borders," the prime minister went on, adding, "The exact border will be negotiated.'
