Gaza is not closed for civilians, but there is a security closure in the Strip, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said in a closed conversation on Sunday, hours after his decision to ease the terms of the blockade on Gaza.

There is "no civilian blockade on Gaza, but only a security blockade," said Netanyahu.Netanyahu continued to explain that the security blockade is now being strengthened now that Israels' allies around the world are supporting its conduct and the legitimacy of a continued security blockade against Hamas.
