Netanyahu condemns attack against haredi soldier

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Tuesday night joined a host of politicians in condemning the attack earlier in the evening against a haredi soldier by dozens of ultra-Orthodox men in Jerusalem's Mea She'arim neighborhood.
"We will take a hard stand against those who attempt to strike fear in citizens fulfilling their duty to the state," the prime minister vowed.
Netanyahu added that the number of haredim who enlist in the army has "grown meaningfully in recent years."
