Opposition leader Isaac Herzog (Labor) spoke at the opening of the winter session of the Knesset on Monday, where he slammed the budget the was recently passed.
He said the Israeli public was not stupid and would not pay anymore. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would be the one to pay he said, with his seat.
"The people of this nation are more important than your political career," Herzog addressed Netanyahu directly, before criticizing the prime minister for his failures to achieve "peace, hope and a better economy."
