Palestinian terrorist sentenced to two life sentences

The Palestinian terrorist who murdered Danny Gonen, an Israeli student, near the West Bank settlement of Dolev in June 2015, was sentenced by a military court to two life sentences and given an NIS 3.5 million fine.
The court also recommended that Muhamad Abu-Shahin not be released in any future prisoner swaps.
Gonen's mother Deborah said after the sentencing that Israel was allowing an "animal walking on two legs to keep on living and enjoying life."
