Palestinians: Terrorists fought off IDF with mortar shells

Terrorists belonging to Palestinian Islamic Jihad exchanged fire with IDF forces along the border in southern Gaza, Palestinian Ma'an News Agency reported on Wednesday.

A statement from dent by Islamic Jihad's military wing to Ma'an stated that its fighters had managed to fight off an IDF incursion using mortar shells in 15 minutes-long exchange of fire near the town of Khan Younis.

The terrorists claimed that after the incident IDF forces withdrew to their base in Kisufim.
