A partial solar eclipse was expected to appear in Israeli skies within the morning hours on Tuesday. The solar phenomenon was scheduled to begin, around 9:00 AM, when the moon will cover the northern portion of the sun. The eclipse will reach it's peak around 10:40 AM when the moon will cover around 57% of the sun, Army Radio reported.

Those venturing to catch a glimpse of the eclipse should be careful and make sure to wear appropriate glasses for viewing the phenomenon, as powerful rays from the sun can be harmful to the eye if looked at straight-on.
