A pedestrian near the Mahaneh Yehuda market in Jerusalem was hit by a light rail train and lightly injured on Wednesday morning. Citypass officials said the pedestrian crossed the tracks during a red light.

The man was treated on the scene by paramedics and the train continued on its way. Citypass stressed that all people driving and walking around the light rail should exercise caution and only cross when safe to do so.
