Plea bargain reached in labor trial of AG Weinstein's wife

Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein's wife Aviva will pay a fine of NIS 20,000 for illegally employing a foreign worker, following a plea bargain reached at the Tel Aviv labor court on Wednesday.
Aviva, who did not attend the hearing, will have 10 months to pay the fine for illegal employment.
During the court's ruling, the prosecutor said that Weinstein cooperated with the court at every step of the proceedings, and confessed at the first opportunity presented to her.
Her lawyer, meanwhile, said that it was the first time she made such a mistake and that it was a "mistake made with good intentions."
