Rail passengers faced delays on Thursday as Israel Railway employees implemented disruptions to protest a deteriorating labor dispute between their union, the rail company and the Finance Ministry.

Commuter trains throughout the country were traveling especially slowly and spending longer periods of time stopped in stations, dramatically increasing travel times between destinations.
