TUNIS - Five people were killed in fighting between forces loyal to Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi and rebels in the town of Misrata on Friday, a resident said.
"Medics at the hospital told us that five people were killed today and 10 others were wounded," the resident called Ghassan told Reuters by phone. "We were at the hospital and we talked to medics."
He said he could still hear clashes in the town. "We can still hear mortar fire in the distance".
