According to an Emirati official, there were six more - and still unidentified - people involved with the team that killed Hamas operative Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in a Dubai hotel room last month, the New York Times reported Tuesday.

If confirmed by Dubai officials, the additional six would bring the total number of people named by Dubai police as being members of the alleged assassination team to 17.

The official was also reported as saying that the passports held by the alleged assassins were used for a period of months in Europe and Asia prior to al-Mabhouh's death.
